Here I am sitting in a Starbucks in downtown Chicago waiting to have an interview with a well-established UK retail brand. At this very moment, I feel so many emotions, not just about my interview, but more so my time at Saint Mary's. As I look around this beautiful city and admire the well establish people walking in and out of the black iron doors, I can't help but feel anything but happy. I am not only happy for this incredible interview opportunity but happy for Saint Mary's College and everything it has made me but most importantly, everything it has given me.
As someone who has always been very goal oriented, I made myself the promise of never settling until I achieved my goals. Goals that at times seemed so far out of my reach but somehow I keep managing to surprise myself. I have developed this new confidence for myself that I can hardly contain. I feel more drive and more passion for the industry I love more than ever before and it's the best feeling in the world. I know I have been MIA these past few months and although it has not been easy stay away from my very special creative outlet. I can promise I feel better than ever and every step I take forward will take me to the places I have not only dreamt of but have always known I was meant to be.
